Eager to make a cap that showed the MLB Baseball team logos with more pride the cult classic59FIFTY Cap was born. This deep, fitted cap revolutionized baseball caps and with it, headwear in general. For the first time ever the caps the pro’s wore on-field was officially sold in-stores to Major League Baseball fans all across America then, Spike Lee called.

American film director Spike Lee asked New Era Cap Co. to make him a custom redYankees 59FIFTY Fitted cap to match his jacket. Little did he know it that he had just introduced sports headwear to a much wider audience. Hip Hop made it a staple, Creators made it their own. New Era has become more than just your favourite team and the gold sticker on the visor is just as iconic as the hat itself.

Other New Era Cap Styles

New Era doesn’t just make the 59FIFTY Fitted however, the 9FIFTY Snapback is just as popular as its predecessor. The9FIFTY features a deep crown, a flat peak, but instead of the fabric fitted all the way around the head, there is a Snapback closure on the back which makes it a One Size Fits All Cap.
