NEW White Spider CONS Louie Lopez Pro

Inspired by retro tennis and skate silhouettes, the new CONS Louie Lopez pro has received a seasonal revamp. In a white and black colour way, this instalment features all the classic components of the original L.L but this time dressed in edgy white spiderweb details. 

A premium, canvas upper with butted seams and rubber backing helps reduce friction and provide durability. With a CX foam sockliner for cushioning and impact protection, and all-over spider graphics.

Original: CONS Louie Lopez Pro 

Professional American skater Louie Lopez developed his signature shoe with Converse last year and has proved to be a popular choice amongst skateboarders worldwide.

Louie began skating at the young age of five. By the time he was twelve his natural skateboarding abilities talents were noticed at the Am contests. 

Louie was picked up some big sponsors such as Flip. At just 15 Louie has scored a major part in Flip’s 'Extremely Sorry' video in 2009. He became a recognised Pro skater at 18, scoring further success in Volcom's 'True To This' and Flip's '3' videos.

Louie was delighted with the opportunity to design and execute a signature shoe featuring his name ("L. Lopez" embossed in gold foil). In his media statement, Louie describes this surreal pride.

“As soon as I let the family know I was getting a shoe, it felt like we were all getting one. Our last name was on a shoe… that was surreal.”

Louie, working alongside with the Converse designers, crafted a silhouette based off three archived Converse footwear designs. The Chuck Taylor All-Star influenced the outsole design, an element that maximizes grip. TheOne Star CC Pro and theBreakpoint Pro are the other two Converse models that influence the design. The shoe feature:

• A perforated tongue for breathability
• Dual-density Ortholite sock liner with Nike Zoom airbag for comfort
• A reworked collar to optimize heel lockdown (great for protecting your feet and joints while skating)

The low profile of Louie Lopez Pro CONS reflects the inspiration from retro 70s tennis shoes. They have a great look, footwear that you can easily wear both skating and casually day-to-day. They come in a range of colours at affordable prices.
